A New KG for the Little One!

Early this 2008 marked a significant change in our little boy’s social and spiritual life… He now has his very own “Koinonia Group” (simply called, “KG”) in Elim (our Catholic Christian Community).

For those unaware of what a KG is… it is a small group consisting of around 8-9 Elim dwellers that meet on a weekly basis to share their victories and struggles, their ups and downs, a time to apply the scriptures in their personal life, a session that is spent opening up and being at your most vulnerable and being accountable to everyone else in your group.

May our little boy grow up and develop his inner self and spirituality the very way the Lord intends it to be.  May he grow to have the strength, compassion, courage, love, faith and understanding that Christ has.

Opposite

A little video we took of my little Isabella playing a little game she invented with her mom called, “Opposite”… The game is simple: Just say something negative to each other and then say, “Opposite”, at the end… hahaha… well, it’s cuter than it sounds… just watch, you’ll see what I mean. LOL!

Community Mass

Last Sunday, September 9, 2007… us and the kids together with their Papa Hen attended the Elim Community Mass over at the Elim Global Headquarters.

The celebration was facilitated by the “Kidz Life” members of Elim which our kids are a part of.  They had a small program before the actual mass… the children gave away token gifts to first timers and birthday celebrants for the months of September and October.  They were also in charge of reciting (actually, singing) the responsorial psalm during the event.  It was so much fun… and the little rascals enjoyed participating.

We brought along our video cam and shot a few clips and footages before, during and after the program (and mass).  Enjoy the clip below!

Cutting the Fat!

Daddy Chuckie has been very active back in the gym again!  After only a month of constantly hitting the plates, he’s down to 153 lbs.  He’s shed roughly about 9 lbs from the time he started working out again!

His current goal is between 135 lbs. – 140 lbs.

The Sweet Life…!

Our little girl, Isabella, and Daddy Chuckie recently guested on a taped episode of QTV’s early evening show, “The Sweet Life”, hosted by Lucy Torres-Gomez. The show is scheduled to air on August 22, 2007 and our pretty baby is really excited to watch herself on television when it comes out.

We’re posting a few photos taken during the taping but you won’t find Daddy Chuckie in any of them since he was the proud father behind the camera taking the shots. She obviously got more exposure than Chuck did…! Haha… Oh well, the makings of another artista, I guess! She seems to be enjoying the limelight. She even started making handwritten invitations to distribute to her classmates and teachers tomorrow informing them that she’ll be coming out on tv! She even keeps telling us, “Daddy, artista na ako!”… hay! The last time we heard her say it was just earlier over dinner. Hehe!
